Well, it looks like I may not be a regular blogger after all- taking the time to sit down and write is harder than it seems! Maybe I will be better when the little guy arrives in 30 days. Of course, he may arrive in less or more days than that, but the countdown is on for 30 and we have certainly been busy in our preparations!
Last weekend we had a wonderful visit from Maggie and a fabulous baby shower. Maggie helped us get some final things organized and rearranged in the nursery and it turned out great. It's such a calm place for me to go in and look at and imagine how it will be changing with a new life living in there. We still have a little more de-cluttering to do but it's getting there. The dogs certainly like being in there as well.

We played a great game where everyone had to write down a funny childhood story and Travis and I had to guess who the story was about. It was quite hard to figure out but a fun game for both guys and girls. And of course, there was the bottle chugging contest for the guys, which was a big hit.
Now we have no plans for the next few weekends and I am looking forward to taking it easy and hopefully enjoying some time outside. Who knows, maybe we'll get some of the snow we've been sorely lacking this winter.Countdown is on. . .
